Dr tims timeline

Just watch everything. Do water changes when the trates get high.

With really high ammonia anything living besides the bacteria is going to die! Do you have dead rock in there?

Trites are rising, hopefully the ammonia is continuing to fall. Day 7

I'm at a loss for words. This is 2 days with no water changes or anything. The ammonia has dropped that much! Trites and trates are also rising. Maybe that much ammonia was a good thing

Excuse the ammonia. I was dosing with the Dr tims ammonia bottle and the cap came off and dumped 3/4 of the bottle in.<br/>
I just about had a heart attack seeing that ammonia test before I got to read your blurb! Glad it's coming down so quickly!

It was very high haha. I'm glad it's coming down too. My trates are gonna be through the roof, but it will be ok

Ammonia continues to drop. Trites and trates going up alot so the cycle is in full swing! Won't be long till my ammonia is a 0

I've used Dr Tims on 2 tanks 75 and 240. The 75 cycled in 8 days. The 240 took way longer. It would process the ammonia overnight but the nitrites and nitrates would not come down. I ended up adding a half bottle of Fluval bacteria from Petco. 3 days later i had 0 ammonia 0 nitrites and very low nitrates.

What is fluval bacteria called again? I couldn't think of the name

Day 11. Ammonia almost all the way to 0 from having ammonia over 10ppm.

This is where your probably going to do some water changes. Trates are probably super high and holding up the trites from processing.
