That reactor looks great Rick (now I need one, LOL. Get on that.) which skimmer did you go with Bill?
The coral seems to think so.Do you think that has enough spread for the tank Bill?
I am going to start stocking them later next month again.
Black with the green on top?
Just some Cromis so far but will add some nice ones when they come in as they have been out of stock, Blue Reef Cromis, Blue-streak Cardinals, Yellow Coris Wrasse, Yellow Watchman Gobi, and Maybe a Chevron Tang but not sure on that one.what fish did you get? your photos are tiny.
...
Nope went with a RDSB instead and will run Ecobak until it matures, Did not like all the salt creep and work cleaning it.
Bill
With Live Rock that was in another tanks sump for several weeks so had very little cycle, Have over 30 different items in the tank already including SPS, Mushrooms, and Zoas plus the Fish now.how did you get the tank cycled so quickly? Or are you cycling with the chromis :fear:
The Sump i have from Synergy has a very large fuge area that i filled to 12" deep with sand and then bacteria does the rest, Appx 6 months to mature and be beneficial. How are you setting up your RDSB, Bill? I've been contemplating playing with one, too.
Brandon
Thats exactly how mine is set up, I had one for years on that 185 and never ran EB or any kind of Phosphate remover. Once mature IMO they work great and are very cost effective.Bill I was reading and article that for them to be fully functional they can not have any detritus going in it. The guys set up from the article had the water going into filter socks before going into the deep sand bed area
Ask Kevan he knows a place in the Boro that make them for a good price.Bill... I need this stand! Building at tank with the same foot print. Where can I get one of these things made?
