Ohhh got my RODI from Spectrapure and almost didn't know it was on my porch as i go in thru the garage and picked up an MP40 from Dale along with the Brute w/valv and float valve all ready for water changes. I will get some photos after i unpack it.

Hard to even tell what it is from those photos, But thanks non the less It's getting ignored lately as fish tanks take the # 1 spot right now. Gonna try and get my RODI mounted and the water x station all set up today, Nice to actually get something done.

May be putting the cart b4 the horse but started to make the first batch of water this eve, then when the tanks in the house i can run the line direct to the tank to fill it up. May go ahead and order my rock and sand on Monday so i can play with my scape until i get the look i want. Usually rush through this step and then regret it later on, not this time i want to get it right the first time and cement all together before adding water.

Scaping is a bad time for me. It involves me sitting at my coffee table trying to build a scape inside tape lines while the wife gives me terrible looks for having rock in the living room.

And the Topic of How Much Did You Pay for Rocks, Are you out of your mind came up one time when i bought all live rock and spent around 2,000.00

Glad to see you back and healthy Bill! Looking forward to the new build!

LOL.... That will definitely cause a knot in the throat for a moment or two while the wife has one of those natural female bi polar moments! :)

Just hope i can live up to all the expectations of the past, And for sure there is anticipation building and the anxiety is building for sure. Can't wait to get started.
Thanks everyone

Decided to go with new Marco Rock and Seed it with some live rock from some local friends (You know who u are) that i may be about to hit up! Also got 160# of sand as i will do a Deep Sand bed in one section of my sump, Had great results with this in my 185gal tank and it's cheaper than EB and less work than TS but will use all three until sand is fully functional.

Based on pics and posts of your previous builds, certainly looking forward to seeing this progress Bill!

I've been looking at various water x stations and was just wondering what all you're using for yours?

Nothing real fancy at this time just a brute with float valve and a another valve in the bottom of the brute to let water flow out by gravity to my sump. I will have the brute above the sump height so i can x water and pump it to the tank without carrying buckets, Same for removing water for water changes i will just run it outside to the driveway. The ATO will be in a closet behind the tank and trying to figure a way to automate the RODI and the tank to fill itself automatically, but location is a problem. On another tank i care for i have a more elaborate system being built that has duel 105 gal tank that will hold salt water and fresh and be all done by turning valves. But i still have to finish that set up, Im waiting on pump and parts to finish.
