That's a fancy looking ATS. Where did you get it from?

What skimmer are you currently using and what are you looking to upgrade to?

The ATS is a turboaquatics and im gonna go with an SWC skimmer or maybe this new vertex that toxic told me about

not this fast no lol. i think its just in your head or maybe your water is just clearing up from bacteria cycles or something. could be just that your used to scrubber only tank which has lots of particles floating around aka food. skimmer is skimming that out now so that could be it also.

I think you are right about going from scrubber only to this type of setup. But man my water looks extremely clear

Tested everything yesterday
Amonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Phosphate 0.50 high maybe dye off from the rocks
Ph 8.2
Calcium 450
Alk 8.9
Mag 1400
Should I do water changes to get the phosphates down or should I let the bio pellets and scrubber do its thing. I also have some gfo that I could use.

From what i have read on teh pellets, they reduce Nitrate and Phosphate in a linear fashion. somethign like for every 10 nitrates 1 phosphate is removed.... I can absolutely see this in my tank. Use some GFO to scrub it off and monitor from there. Phosphates should be in the .02 range. mine are now and I can see the Cyano I had in my Ca/Rx vanishing.
