I put clear nail polish over my hinges. So far so good.

Vegetable oil here. Never thought about clear polish.

Over the years I have only delt with BTA's and LTA's, will those split the same way? I'm thinking I need some in my tank. Thanks for helping me spend more money!

What are your thoughts on me getting a few rock flower nems?

Potentially dragonettes in the future or a mandarin

I guess I better pay attention, my wife is on a mission to buy some. If you guys can stretch the truth on the answer in my favor it could save me a couple hundred bucks.

I am amazed with the colors of the rock nems. I never paid that much attention to them, but in the last few days I have seen 100's of pics...wow they are cool! I'm almost afraid to look at the mini maxi carpets, but now that you have my curiosity going I'm going to look. Im sure my wife will be thanking you next.

I think they would be fine with the Rock Flowers. Mine did get pretty sticky now that they settled in though. I see my serpent star trying to steal food and having to pull back quickly. The fish steer clear of them so far.

Nice looking minis! From what I have read, there are far more accounts of maxi minis catching and eating fish than rock flowers.

Thanks @Dsnakes ! I have kept the mini maxis up on the rock away from the sand. I personally never lost a fish to them.
