I recently bought a dwarf zebra lionfish.
He was supposedly eating krill at the lfs, but I can't get him interested in eating.
I actually bounced krill off his head, and a piece even landed next to his mouth. He was uninterested.
I placed a few live (small) swordtails in the tank as well. He barely noticed them.
Tank parameters are fine. It's a full-blown reef tank with rapid coral growth. The other fish eat constantly. He's not being picked on.
I've never kept a dwarf lion before, but I really thought it would be easier to get it to eat. I thought he'd be like other predators I've kept, i.e. Panther groupers, marine bettas, et al.
Any ideas?

Unless it is sick it will come around. They are eating machines, perhaps try a different live food...
They also like lower flow setups, perhaps that might be a factor?
