Consider this... if you ever want to view your photos one day on a tv... by taking all your photos in portrait mode you will have a sliver of a photo in the center of screen with huge empty space on either side of the screen. That would not be the case with landscape photos. Also traditional point and shoot cameras take photos in landscape mode by default. You could only take a vertical photo by holding the camera vertically. I could go on but just food for thoughtHmm. I almost never do that. Will have to see about it. Far easier to “point and shoot” as it were.
