I've also been trying to decide on which doser to get so I've been watching this thread. If you want a jebao doser that isn't the old dp-4 then I would look at the doser 2.4 vs the 3.4 that you have a link too. The 2.4 is actually the newer one from what I've read, and it has wifi and manual controls. Whereas the 3.4 is only wifi. The only advantage of the 3.4 is that it's physically smaller.I also found this thinking really hard about giving it a shot.
I have had good luck using the BRS pumps and an outlet timer from amazon. It seems complicated but it really is not once you start screwing with it. If you can wait for a sale their pumps are reasonable and allow you to buy one at a time so you can start your alk now and worry about ca later. If you want to do the fancy new food and micro dosing stuff you might want to look at one of the 4 in 1 type setups just to avoid clutter.I have a 3 mo old 120 and need to dose to keep the alkalinity up, was wondering what are my options for a easy reliable pump? I go away on the weekends and am noticing alk swings
Seen a lot of people complaining about WiFi connection on those. Also seen people complaining about the WiFi on the Kamoer too but I didn't have a single issue
Am running Alk and Cal with 2 Kamoers and AWC with 2 more - so far so goodThe kasa takes care of it. I have it broken down into bursts of maybe 8 minutes - 3 times a night. I adjust as needed based on testing. I run alk at night because ph drops at night and alk can raise ph. I run calcium during the day.
