EB832 Voltage Error (No power)

What are you plugging into the outlet when you get the error. The EB832 can only handle low wattage items. I was trying to run a 700 watt heater and kept getting that, Neptune told me it was too many watts. I added a EB8 and can run that heater fine.

I can have nothing plugged into and it still shows that error. It’s ran perfect with everything plugged into it for over a year.

Has anyone figured out a fix for this? The exact same thing has happened to mine. Fusion works shows that everything is connected, all probes are working and accurate. My EB832 is on and all lights are on, but none of the outlets are receiving power. I’ve tried all the normal fixes, unplugged, plugged back in, reboot, update firmware, unplug everything, check breaker on back, and nothing seems to work.

This happened a week ago after a power outage, but after a couple hours After power was restored it seemed to Have corrected itself. No luck this time.

Mine was bad. Neptune will offer to replace in some cases for a discount. Use to be you could send in and get fixed inexpensively, but now most quotes are around $150 for out of warranty work. I had two bars fail this month. Both were right about 2 years old.

yes... just weird how it just blanked just like that. i wish i knew the cause bc mine has been running problem freefor years. then boom. nothing. so weird. nervous fir replacement bc don't kniw cause or exact issue.

just reread your post. JESUS two??? that makes me extra nervous

Sounds like this is becoming a very common field issue that needs to be addressed sooner than later

Just had same issue after a power failure this morning. What a piece of crap. What if I had not been home? Glad I paid almost $800 dollars for electronics to safe guard my tank. My $10 dollar surge protector turned my coffee maker on but this thing is toast.

There has to be a better equipment!! For us reefers.
Agreed for the cost of this system the hardware is horrible. The insult to injury is that only they can fix it and they make more money selling you a new one. Will not get repeat business from me.
