I own this unit as well as the new version with red and green LEDs. This is one of the best programmable reef lights. You can program the lights to come on and come on at what intensity. This unit does not generate a lot of heat. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.......

I had a Chinese black box, and it was fine. Until the ballist melted and I almost lost all my coral. If you're smart, you'll spend the extra money and buy a good lighting system. That's not a good place to scrimp.

Don't go chineese if you want any product help or customer service, short term it will most likely work for you but long term you will probablly upgrade, id save the $200 and wait for something you can live with for years to come

I also have two of the Mars Aqua LED units. They have been great. You can even wire them to work with and Apex controller.
This listing reads pretty nice and I t’s only $200 so I would try it out. Just jump on it try it out and then let us all know if you love it or hate it.
