Has anyone has this light? How do you like it? How is the color compare to the G3 Pro? Can you please share some insight experiences?

Yes please share your thoughts on these. I'm thinking about getting three of them for my 210 but want to hear some reviews first.

I'm also planning on 3 G4 Pros to try out from my current 3 52s non-HD.

I can't compare them to the G3. But I did some Par readings yesterday and the light spread is very uniform (No real hot spots). I had 400 at water level and 150 at about 20 inches deep. My tank is 48x24x24 and has very even light coverage with the xr30 pros.

That is a really great feedbacks to know. How do you hang your G4? How height to the water line? Thx.

Forgot to mention this is at 50% strength in acclimation mode. Which is very important. Lol. I can take some 100% soon if needed

Do you notice any disco ball effect? How is the color blending? Can you post a pix of ur tank, when you have a chance?

I upgraded my 200 from G3's and the look and the pulip extension I got within 24 hours was impressive. I think it's worth the upgrade.

Like a kid at Christmas time..... :D

I had both before I sold my G3 to so I can get another G4. I don't have a par meter so I can't give actual numbers but visually the G4 was more blue. Both the G4 and G3 were set to coral ab+ (t-5 program) you can see the color difference in the pic. The spread was also bigger on the G4.

I'm curious, what were your settings?
Look at my link above. I've had vastly different results from you if your G4 is on the left.
Running AB+, I set the new violet channel to 100% and the new white to 24%.
Did they release a new AB+ just for the G4 that is different than that?

Both lights were set to the coral ab+ program at 35%
But what were the individual channel settings on the G4?
When i initially hooked up my G4 and programmed it while the G3 was still hanging, the new violet and white channels were at zero.

I'll have to check when I get home from work. My ecotech app doesn't show me the channel setting. all I was able to re-program my light to the coral ab +, set the intensity and time they come on and off. But when I hit the channel options it just says everything is at 100%. Unless there's some way of finding it on the app that I dunno about? [emoji848]

I went on ecosmartlive from a work computer and this it shows I dunno where to find where it tells my what individual color is set at when you use the coral ab+ template

Click on an individual point on the graph (little blue outlined circle) and then look to the left side of your screen. You should see all 8 channels.
