Get the G4’s. The g5 blue is set up for the ab+ spectrum and is wayyy too much blue imo.

What's the difference between g4 and g5Get the G4’s. The g5 blue is set up for the ab+ spectrum and is wayyy too much blue imo.
The g5 blue has more blue led’s. The g5 is spread out over a square opposed to a puckWhat's the difference between g4 and g5
Oh, that's not such a big differenceThe g5 blue has more blue led’s. The g5 is spread out over a square opposed to a puck
Would I be able to mount one g4 xr30w pro over a 36" x 14" euphyllia tank using the AB+ Spectrum and have awesome results? Should I hang it higher? The g5 blue has more blue led’s. The g5 is spread out over a square opposed to a puck
No, you would need two 15’s or two primes. You really don’t need radions for euphyllia. They don’t need a lot of light.Would I be able to mount one g4 xr30w pro over a 36" x 14" euphyllia tank using the AB+ Spectrum and have awesome results? Should I hang it higher?
Fair enough, Maybe two kessil A80s? Or 3No, you would need two 15’s or two primes. You really don’t need radions for euphyllia. They don’t need a lot of light.
I personally dislike the kessils. Too much shimmer and they have some issues. You have to buy a controller to set up the timer. And cooling fan failures are prominent. They’re not necessarily bad lights, the Ai is just superiorFair enough, Maybe two kessil A80s? Or 3

The Ai prime is also much brighter than the a80. The 160 is closer to the power of the Ai prime. The retail price on the 160 is around $240Fair Enough
I know this is unrelated but can I ask this? My blue licktia has a white spot next to his tube legs and sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not, it's like the blue skin takes over but should I be worriedFair Enough

I wouldn’t worry about it. Fish can change colors under different moods and depending on what they’ve been eating.
Well, I might go T5s because they are not expensive and they do the job, I do not really care about shimmer at this pointI wouldn’t worry about it. Fish can change colors under different moods and depending on what they’ve been eating.
T5’s are cheaper at first but look at the price to replace bulbs. Bulbs typically cost around $40 a piece and last 8-12 months. You would probably need Atleast a four bulb fixture, maybe 5. With a four bulb fixture, you’ll be spending $160 in bulbs every 8 months. So in 2-1/2 years, you would’ve spent more in t5 replacement bulbs than 3 Ai primes would’ve cost. T5’s also suck up much more electricity and put out more heat. More heat=more evaporation, hotter tank, home ac running more. LED’s don’t put out much heat at all and last many, many years. I have some hydra 26’s that are About 9 years old still running strong. If I had T5’s, I would’ve spent around $1,400 in replacement bulbs.Well, I might go T5s because they are not expensive and they do the job, I do not really care about shimmer at this point
thats a whole bunch of wrong. Bulbs are $20ish each and BRS already shown the bulbs last 18+ months before needing to be replaced.T5’s are cheaper at first but look at the price to replace bulbs.
