The Reefbrite strips are the only product that I would use in direct comparison to the Panoramas. The Current Powerbrites are too spotty, and the Icecaps are for moonlights only. There is a big difference in output between the Stunners and the Panoramas, shich is why you see the jump in cost. The Stunners are there for supplimental lighting only, while the Panoramas have the capability for actual growth. They will also fair better against high power lights when used as a suppliment.
thx so much for the info!! i seem to hear from EVERYONE that reefbrite is best way to go, hence the highest cost out of all the LED strips out there (without going to full LED fixtures meant as main lighting). I may sound pathetic, but even the ReefBrites are out of my range, and was really really leaning toward the IceCap ones as basically something to have on when my T5's turn off at night. unfortunately my fixture does not have built in moonlights, so i guess the IceCap would act as a glorified moonlight when the main fixture is turned off.
but now the Panorama strips are sounding more and more like what i may want, or even just the Stunners. either way, they seem to be much stronger than any of the other non-ReefBrite strips out there, and both are at least under the $100 cap that i'm not tryin to exceed. i will keep researching and seeing what people say about the 3 options (IceCap, Stunner, Panorama strip), but i truly appreciate everyone's info. thx!
for what I know: panorama 12W strip is different as strip used in Panoramas fixture. The strip is used in fixture has reflect, the single 12W strip doesn't have reflect. the performance is different. The reflect is key to keep SPS.
Do the Stunner strips get drown out with a mh setup if running at the same time?
No they are to small just like Acroholic explains
Would the blue powerbrights fair better?
