Dan, just be careful you have to feed this little guy every often. At the meantime, you may have hard time to maintain the water parameter. This little guy doesn't start eat algae until he grows bigger.

The tank looks amazing. Really nice job with it but I would agree to move it away from the window. 84 degrees is a bit high, have you thought of what light you will use?

I have closed the blind the last couple day as the temp here is around 100 outside. The room I am at is closed to 90. Today will be another steaming day. I have fan to keep it cool but that alone can't lower it down too much. I also placed an icepad in the tank which helped a lot. I will be doing this for the next few days for sure. Regarding light. I have an blue LED strip to bring up the colors for viewing. Not anything fancy, just a cheap strip from ebay. Also I have a PAR38 LED for my mangroves. I think it will spill over a bit of light to tank but only in some area.

My little guy Blue tang got sucked in to the powerhead inlet. I was able to release him but I dobut he can pull it off...such a sad news as he was eating well and playful in the tank...:(

Man so sorry!

Sorry to hear about the little tang :frown:

So sorry to hear about the tang, especially after it was looking like he would be doing so well.

Thanks everyone. The poor guy still hiding under a rock after that shock. I can't even see if he got any external injury. Wish him luck.
