I had done some re-arrangement to my tank over the weekend. The reason being my bio load is a bit too high because of the fish. Also removed some frags to make room for other more suitable in my 4Gal.
As a result, I move all the fish out except one blenny. Therefore, I can reduce my feeding down to once dialy. I also have one blood shrimp who will finish off anything that didn't consumed by the blenny. I introduced 10 cerith snails to clean up the diatoms and stir up the send based.
I added two pieces of Milli and one flat acros (name not known) from my DT. Those two pieces were dying at the DT and I think I would give that a try here. Surprisingly, they are doing great in this tank even my tank looks 10 times uglier than my DT with all the algae and diatoms. The milli polyps started extending where they were completely closed and the tips were burning in the DT. The flat acros also had the tips burning until move here. For whatever reason, my nano is relatively high Nitrate/PO4 but the acros seems like it more.
This is the plate acros
This is the milli
A milli tip fell off and I glue it on the rock. It is doing alright.
The latest arrangment of the tank
I think I am done with the stocking as you can see there isn't much room left. My next goal is to control the algae and diatoms. I am also using Zeobak and Zeostart to speed up the cycling. I will update my stock inventory shortly.
I picked up a pair of Yaser Gobies for my DT today. They are amazingly cute. I might pick one up for this tank. The LFS had a big shippment of Bali and Philipines fishes today and there are many pico fish to choose from. Unfortunately I only have that little room, I have to be very careful with the size.
Thank you Barb and Mike.
I have not start a thread in my Yasers. They are sure one character fish. I was thinking a pair of Dracula or this. The price of the Dracula turned me off and this guy is less than half of the price. I will go to the LFS today and see if any left for my nano.
