Eggs?

Here is a grouping of my Strombus snails. They always find a place to shag - as Austin would say.

what type of strombus are those? look pretty small compared to other strombus and i dont see the typical googly eyes on yours but its not zoomed in so i couldnt tell.

When I purchased them years ago I believe they are just labeled as Strombus Grazers which I believe is a bit vague. I do not see them on the portal anymore so not sure of the exact type. I remember Dr. Shimek talking about it in one of his articles and he said they are probably related to a species of Euplica. I would have to do another search and see to be exact.

They are good grazers and seem to thrive in my system although I couldn't pinpoint exactly what it is they are eating. Since the population seems to be maintaining and growing slightly I would say whatever it is they are eating is enough to keep their numbers healthy. If there wasn't enough I'd assume it would decline and it isn't.
