Elegance Coral pics going into the weekend!

One of my favorite corals in the hobby. Love to see some elegance corals in different reefs. Here’s mine. Her name is Mady (short for Medusa). She is a lover of all things snails.

We call ours Harry.. cuz why not. He too loves snails. When open, he is 11". I have another on the other end of the tank. Not sure if I have a photo or not.

This is the closest coral I can get that looks like a nem. Do you guys have any experience with your elegance coral eating fish? My wife has become quite attached to some of the fish and I would like to know your experiences thanks!

Our other one at a small firefish once. Snails for sure. The larger fish are not susceptible. Their size will determine their consumption. I don't see a situation at all in which a larger wrasse, tang, etc could/would be an issue ever.

That being said, my other firefish run into it all the time without problems, so what I can NOT confirm is if the first and only fish it ever ate was dead due to something?

I ended up selling this one.. It was small when I got it and over years is grew to be a little smaller than a basket ball..

It started out in a 75 gallon in the second picture. (which i just added to my original post)
The first picture was in a 125 Gallon.

I can't truly be sure on why that firefish to be perfectly honest.

Never seen crabs (hermit or otherwise)...and the shrimps can run over them with impunity.

I would agree. Just a snail graveyard some mornings. Never seen a crab or shrimp lose that battle.

Here is mine, just got it 3 months ago. And it has ate a fire fish as well and almost my serpent star. Such a cool coral!
