Pic from tonight during water change. Spots are floaters not on the fish. Did a copper test on the copper aid medication. Didn't get a 1.0 until 20x rexommended dosage. So 30x for therapeutic levels. At this point i added the carbon back in yesterday to remove anything and so i can start over. What should i use? He is looking better (ie no spots) but still hiding. I know i need to do something because he isn't miraculously cured. Suggestions? Different meds? I have prazipro now. I could start that but not sure its a good idea if i know there is ick or velvet in the tank.

I would switch over to Coppersafe or Copper Power.

Which test kit are you using?

Api chelated copper. I thought i was using coppersafe but read it more closely and its copperaid.

API will accurately register Coppersafe or Copper Power as well.

Coppersafe arriving tomorrow. Fish has started flashing and scraping on rocks. Going to attemp my first fw dip tonight. Wish me luck. Have the water heating now. I don't have the medication so will be straight fw.

Finished the dip. Nothing came off him. Does that mean he doesn't have flukes and won't need the prazipro? I know he still needs the copper. He did pretty well. Only showed signs of distress with 15 seconds left so pulled him out but it took that long to get him out.

If nothing came out/off of him during the dip then we can assume that flukes isn't the problem. Now copper is the main plan.
