I have 2 fish in a sort of a QT, they are a suprize though so I'll post what they are later. Kind of an experiment, if it works I'll tell you if not then I'll tell you LOL.

Well it looks like this has worked. I have converted 2 freshwater Mollies into saltwater Mollies. I have had them in an old sump for the past two weeks and I've been slowly adding saltwater to it.

Here they are in the sump.

And here is a bigger pic for proof, you can kinda see them back in the left rear corner of the sump.

Two weeks, if they continue to do well I may do another pair of them.

Nice looking Mollies, hopefully they continue to do well in being converted over to saltwater. Do you have male and female or two of the same? Not sure if Mollies are able to breed successfully in a saltwater setup but if they can good chance of having a lot of babies.

Thanks Barb, I'm not sure if they are male and female. I haven't paid that much attention to them yet and right now they are hiding in the rocks.

So I cleaned the glass and added some stuff. The two Mollies are in but hiding. And I added 5 heads of Hammer and 3 huge heads of Frogspawn.... Even though I only paid $40 for the corals from a local I think since I have 8 heads total it counts towards $80 of my allotted $500 cap.

Good luck with the mollies. I have always been too chicken to try converting them.

Haha the lights aren't on yet. Plus I haven't placed any corals in their homes yet because the RBTA is on a walkabout.

I did get a new Koralia 1 pump yesterday and put it in there instead of the knock off powerhead I had. There was just too much flow with the old powerhead.
