Emperor and Bicolor Angels sick

I did 2x 20 percent water changes yesterday.

i can’t from my own water right now, because I can’t use prime on the tap water as there’s low does Cupramine in the tank.
But I can buy sea water first thing in the morning

Full does of PraziPro this morning. At LFS instructions
And a few ml of Cupramine. But tested that later in the day, it’s barely readable

The Praziquantel is a problem. Specifically says on the bottle not to use in conjunction with any other medicines so that really ties our hands

One of the effects of the praziquantel is that it reduces the redox of the water i.e. it takes oxygen out of the water.

Hmmm so stupid

litterally after dowsing it I went on here because it wasn’t sitting right with me..
And pulling it out with a Polyfilter will take just as long as it takes to ware off which 5-7 days I’d assume?

I’m that case only option would be to pull him out for treatment?
It’s a tough call

They se to be breathing fine..
At least no visible difference from before the prazi

It may have been slightly on the faster side since I got him though..
But every fish breaths at a different speed it seems, so not sure if it’s normal or slightly fast

Generally I’d catch them with the bigger one.
But now with all the rock it’s tough..

i did.l catch the emperor today but he’s not as slippery as the Bicolor.. that Guy is fast!

Here’s my plan, There’s very little we could do in the tank with the fresh dose of prazi in there. How long will it take you to do a freshwater bath? Tapwater adjusted for pH and temperature in a 5 gallon bucket with about 2-3 gallons of water? Can you add some more aeration to your main tank?

I want to give them a fresh water bath right now because it doesn’t make any sense to wait they’re only gonna get weaker. But you’re gonna have to remove all the rocks well most of the rocks so that there’s no place for the bicolor to hide and you could scoop them out quickly and easily without stressing him out I’m not worried about the Emperor. I know how they are. I’ve had many.

Ok, so what’s the process?

man’s thank you so much for all your time and efforts!
I really appreciate it

If you don’t wanna do it now you can do it first thing in the morning. But I probably won’t be up so prepare the water, scoop the fish out with as little stress as possible, put them both in for five minutes. Keep them moving. If they lay on their side touch their tail with something so they get up and swim around. Five minutes and then back into the tank lights off do you want to do it now or in the morning? You’re going to use tapwater of course.

Ok no worries, I think I may do it first thing in the morning.. I’ll probably be up in 8/9 hours from now latest..

With the water, I use untreated tap water?
And you said something about PH?
