Okay I’ve build so many tanks and have done the plumbing to all my friends tanks so I have a good bit of knowledge in this area.
You want to get a ball valve or a gate valve, order the ones on BRS those are amazing. You want to adjust the water flow that it just sips slowly into the emergency drain. If you don’t do this your water level will change all the time. You have to have it going down the emergency drain if not it will keep happening.
