Hi guys!
Hey, when I first put this here it was super happy! It is Still happy, but now I am wondering if it has enough room- when fully "awake", it takes up the whole corner!
And dose it even WANT to be on the sand?

I'll tell you I kept my bubble coral on the sand and in a matter of a year went from the size of my fist (a small fist) to about 8 inches! The get big so he will need more room as some point. Maybe sell it when it starts crowding your tank and get another one that's small.

Is this ok? This is the first time
I have seen its mouth!

Is the mouth open or closed? I cant exactly tell from the picture? But it is an awesome bubble coral! I'd love to have a green one to shine under the actinics. My pink one just looks bland haha.

I am not sure if this is considered open or closed... I have only ever seen the bubbles before and not the mouth. In all honesty, I just tested the water and my nitrate levels are back down, so maybe this is the happy version?

The mouth looks to be closed which is a good sign! As long as the bubbles don't seem to push against the glass i wouldn't worry about it being in the corner.

When it is big and happy he IS squished between the glass and the rock- should I move him?

Any chance you could epoxy or super glue the skeleton to that rock in the first picture, kind of on an angle right beneath that snail? This looks like it would give the bubble plenty of space to grow and if it happens to reach out and sting the GSP so be it. These are pretty common and cheap. If the scallop feels as though it's in danger it will move.

Yes I have the right glue, I was not aware that he was epoxy-able.
The crusty part on its butt, right?

If at all possible i would. It could cause it to become stressed. this is just my opinion i'm not totally sure mine is near the center in a low flow area.

Thanks so much- mine is also in a low flow area and seems happy- I will move it up and glue it! Thanks so much!

I had a bubble coral for at least 10 years. They are hardy and fast growers. They will also get several mouths. They are also pretty aggressive. Will send out sweepers that can be 4-6 long. Can acclimate to medium high lighting and hate flow if too high.

Just got a chance to read this-! This was awesome and helpful! Thanks!

Lol he is so big now that I am whom worried I don't have enough room! He is AMAZING, and I don't have anywhere else to put him...
Might be time for a bigger tank... My husband might not like this... Lol
