Experiences with Artfully Acrylic

Maybe this isn't the right place to talk about this, but I'm curious what other peoples experiences have been with artfully acrylic?

Their communication skills are beyond awful, I've been trying to place an order with them since February. I'm curious if others have had the same experience or if they are just understaffed? I've spoken with them on the phone multiple times and they seem like really good guys.

I'm really getting frustrated, especially since I have a gift certificate specifically for this tank cover.

I had the exact opposite experience. Great customer service and responsiveness. Product is top notch.
 
That's why this is so paintful, I've heard they do such amazing work! Personally I feel like they already have the money (wife bought gift certificate), so they're not as worried about making the sale. I even did the leg work for them of creating the CAD file and everything, they just need to cut and build. I'm sad...:(

This isn't the first time I've heard bad things about their communication skills being less than desirable.... it's a shame too b/c i really want one of their lids but I'm getting turned off by the bad things i keep reading [emoji44]
 
If using email their spam filter could be flagging your email address as spam. I have had this happen with vendors.
 
I placed an order on their site on 6/3 and mentioned that I needed some custom cutouts. I hadn't heard from them by 6/7 so I emailed them about it but still haven't heard back from them. Think I may call them today to see what's going on.

What are you trying to get made?
 
I also want to make it clear that my intention is not to bash this vendor...maybe they have more than they can handle right now. I'm fine with that, but simply reply to the email letting customers know that. I want to support the vendors, and I want them to succeed, which is why I think it's important when people are made aware of their shortcomings.
 
My experience with Artfully Acrylic was great.
They bent over backwards to make sure I was happy and that the top fit perfect.

If I remember right it was 4-5 weeks after placing my order before I got the top.
They told me that up front.
 
I find this more and more with just about everyone, plumbers, carpenters, etc .... just a courtesy call, email, text, any type of contact to keep the consumer in the loop would be nice. Very hard to find that nowadays..
 
Problem along same line. Received lid without a small cutout. Emails went unanswered, made a phone call, again waited. Sent a couple more emails finally received a return label, sent it back. I've sent a couple more emails inquiring when the lid will re-ship. Again, they've gone un answered. Lid was ordered in June, it's now September.
 
Overall my experience was pretty positive. They are slow to respond but I did everything through email, from placing the order to discussing custom sizes and cutouts. I am very happy with the final product.
