I have got some nice mariculture from them before. I have not been back in a few years.
I just lost half my pieces the other night. PGE killed our power for 5 hours when it was 108 degrees………

Yes but John does not have alot of acros. I got the colonies at Aqualife in Rocklin and the GB at Aquarium and Reptiles in Citrus heights which is 1 mile from my house.
I have someone comming Monday as my AC wont keep the house below 80. Tanks are running 80 and I prefer 77.
110 today ouch!

Ext 50 done with rock in place.
There is 1.5" below the racks and which makes it easy to remove one and get all detrius out when needed.
15's are running ab+ @60% scheduled for now. 1hr up/down and 8 @ peak.
Also running the diffusers.
One Tunze 6095 on the back wall.
I got the splitter nozzle and it works well in this small system.
Clearview lid next.

Yea he has alot of lps zoas and not much sps since he does not have the time.
He is closed SMT and keeps all the lights off for all 3 days.

Day 88. 2.5 months since 1st WC.
Today I did 9g's. Tank looks great so far.
I am going to limit WC to 5% every 3 months if system looks good.
Coralline is showimg up on the bottom, rocks, powerheads, and back wall.
I added 80lbs of caribsea special grade sand to the ext 50.
I am going to put my maroon clown into the 50 after I get a green bubbletip acclimated in the near future. Frag tank will be another system down the road maybe, lol.
Also added 1 large piece of real dead live rock from a system I broke down last year.
Running ab+ @ 45% currently.
Today I did 9g's. Tank looks great so far.

Day 104.
I just glued this indo acro to the rock. Its been in my system a week.
Orange with yellow tips currently. This shoukd turn into a nice piece in time. Also got this no name frag. It looks like a strawberry shortcake but lfs said no name.

Yea its on its way now. It should do well as the system is stable now as all corals are visibly growing.

Day 110 6 days from 4 months!
I used 1.5" black caulking tape to hide the waterline. Turned out well I think.
I tried white but it was semi transparent and did not look right.
Geo 818 Carx is holding 7.4 well.
ORP is 420 and working well.
I really like ozone and the advast marine Mutiny reactor @AVAST Marine. It has worked flawlesly and is way nicer than running ozone through your skimmer, imo.
I added 3 nice frags from Aquarium collection in Haward, Ca. They have a very nice selection of acros.
Corraline is really taking off now too.
Also added a thick branched stag colony to the back.
I now have a green slimer, purple slimer and the Army color wild stag all on discs and placed against the back wall on the bottom. The plan is to grow them to the surface.
I will get some acro pics when the lights come on today of corals.
Currently have 30+ hard corals.
Picked up a hammer a week ago also. It may go into the 50 at some point.

Also cleaned the 6255's and shortened the Sweep by 1.
Down to 28 corals.
I moved 2 platys, 1 war coral, and one hammer to the 50.
Tank is now 100% sps.

I went to the lfs on Saturday to get a RS 18" nano cube with stand for a spot next to my recliner.
Well I came home with a RS 170 instead.
Always wanted a smaller RS system and did not go with the larger systems due to the seam issue.
I still dont understand leaving the front unsupported and hanging over the front.
Anyway I know several that have the RS systems. A lfs has been running several RS systems for years with no issues.
Tanks leveled and the plumbing done.
Puchased a RB 24" led for this system. Was going to try another led but I like the RB 50's on my 170 and would have gone with them on my ext 50 if I did not already have the 5 Radions.
Stay tuned. I may start a RS 170 thread.
