Ohh...I can relate...like pulling out 5 Centropyge from an aquascaped 225 reef...fun..

Lol, I haven't been feeling well and I came downstairs and just saw dust clouds. My water is never clear unless he's asleep. I got a tension headache in like three seconds. I think i'm going to have to go for it tomorrow.

But definately one of my largest mistakes. Oh, another one I just thought of.

I used to do my major reef "remodeling" projects starting early Saturday mornings. Put on College Football Gameday at like 7AM, and then just sort of listen to the games on ESPN as I'm working...Experienced a lot of cool games that way! LOL

Crush it!

Extremely difficult if you're making the water yourself. If you can get your LFS to deliver a load of saltwater, that helps. Create your own thread for tips - we've got plenty of them! :)

I think I can handle the water because it's like 125 gallons I need to make and my unit produces 150 easily(at least according to my calculations of 5 gallons every 1/2 hour) a day.

I was trying to not do a thread because as stated in another one of your threads Scott, I don't want to get the "bad advice" magnets going. Too much weight and work involved. I guess I will though. Can you all chime in also? I'm really nervous about this but excited at the same time..

A huge mistake or mistakes I should say that I have done recently. They are actually species I introduced:

1. Anthelia
2. Bubble Tip Anenome

I introduced the anthelia as 4 little polyps and 1 single 2" bubble tip. Now, a year and a half later, I am pulling rock and using an xacto to pull the anthelia off by hand. The thing that's tricky as most of you know is that they are like aphasia and one polyp starts the whole cycle again. I'm down to two spots from maybe 10.

The BTA's, I have no clue. I wish I could just wake up and they would be gone. They are all over the place! Someone mentioned to me kalk paste, but I'm afraid because I have so many stony colonies, not to mention alk, pH and other things I'd have to deal with with kalk paste additions.

These are probably my largest mistakes I have ever made in my system.

Lol, crush the goby?! lol! Really?

Lol, I don't think it'll take to long to get him if I could get all the rock out. It's just getting all the mini colonies out without creating a frag city.

But, that's a great suggestion and I think I'll get up in the morning, cut the tube on and have at it. Eliminate the one mistake..

Well, at least Anthelia is a pretty mistake! LOL

Lol, this afternoon, yeah, I cannot lie. I look at him and he looked at me and that's when the pain hit the noggin..

As much of an animal lover I am, I'm getting tired of him and my patience is running thin. So I know it's time for me to find him a new good home.
