Do you find that you get much fighting among the angels? I've got a flame in QT right now who's just being belligerent with everyone else except a pair of blackray shrimp-gobies.

I chose very carefully their introduction schedule to minimize fighting.

Going smallest to largest and also shyest to most aggressive. Regal angel went first, potters, flame, majestic, and then the giant emperor.

I will say the flame is the jerk of the group. If you plan to add any more angels or even fish for that matter, I'd add it last. He went after my purple anthias and leopard wrasse when they were added and has always been the aggressor to the potters angel.

Excellent advice! ... which I've already broken . . . :-(

I've got a coral beauty in my DT who's been well-behaved for several months, and a flame in my QT who's been there a couple of weeks - and is rapidly becoming a total jerk to the anthias and grammas sharing the tank. I'd love to add a regal, multi-bar, and majestic, pretty much in that order, but I think I'll need to make provision for extended social acclimation. My plan, at this point, is to set up my aquascape so that I can run a piece of eggcrate across the tank, dividing it in roughly 1/3-2/3, when adding a new fish I expect to experience aggression. That way, I should be able to have the new guy and potential aggressor separated but visible to one another for a couple of weeks, or even more.

I'm always of the mindset that when the rule is broken, a good alternative is to make sure the newly added fish is MUCH bigger than the existing ones.
