Thanks for the reply! I definitely have the same thing they’re grey and very similar in movement to standard red bugs. They’ve been in my system for 6-8 months at one point only one colony was affected but now about 4-6 are. Now I guess with strength in numbers the corals that got them have poor pe and colors so so.Hey there Jetta,
It was about 3-4 years ago so my memory is a little hazy on it but I believe I used interceptor, big dog formula, that treats 400 gallons? So 3x that concentration. What I had were gray bugs... Basically gray looking copepods that attached very similarly to red bugs on acros... And then munched and caused less polyp extension. They didn't ever kill anything... Just annoyed it.
One treatment plus a follow up a week later and I never saw them again in my system.
It wasn't the tank destroying black bugs that some people have reported having to deal with. Everyone mentioned the black bugs moving really fast and destroying colonies in a matter of days.

It’s an obvious question but do you think the grey guys are more resistant to dips and interceptor treatments? I’ve dipped everything hard lol.
Did you just do the normal after treatment regimen run carbon/turn on skimmer/25% w/c?
Thanks Alton! I love my regal... I'd never trade him for anything! I'm done with adding fish to the display besides adding a couple more bimaculatus anthias.Ty in February the Maldives Regals get very affordable. So a pair for you could be doable. And the one you have now you could trade for a v4?
Winner winner... Angel dinner.I feel like it should be a tang, but knowing your disposition it's another angel. Bandit angel, maybe?
Yellow scroll coral frag I picked up 8-9 years ago. Best true yellow in my tank.Nice Collection of Fish. What is that Scroll / Cap in the center? I picked up a plate thats purple with a light Green rim and Polyps?
Haha, at first I was confused... My dog's name is Zorro. I was like... Did he see Zorro in the reflection... Did he even meet Zorro at the meeting at the house? Then I realized you meant the bandit. [emoji23]Zorro looks like he fits right in.
Thanks bud! Made my year getting him from you. I'm just going to stop posting until 2020 as it can't get any better than this in 2019.The bandit looks happy Ty!
love your collection of fish. I think I asked before but I forget or maybe it was someone else I asked. Does your regal pick at your SPS a lot, what about acans or torches?
I know they can all be different and then one I tried before did nip but I had much smaller frags then compared to now, I would really like to add one back into my DT
My regal is the best angel in the tank as far as not messing with corals. None of the 6 angels mess with my gold aussie torch and that's about all I have regarding LPS... Unless you count the gonis... They leave those alone too.
Acans would be gobbled up like a bag of Skittles in my tank. May be fun to buy ugly ones one day for cheap and just feed my angels a treat. [emoji38]
Its nice when they are already gorgeously colored when I buy them and then drive home with them. Thanks for the frags bud!New frags look good Ty, very happy! Big difference in that rainbow blosson, right?

Oh yeah, for sure! I knew the species was not even the same between the two but to see it in person, it's obvious.
Now what to name the other one.... Hmmm....
