I did not use it. I got some all glass silicon from the LFS

Alright once I silicon it then its final. Last chance for people to say no don't do it just cap it!

I like the glass idea though.

I had a 125 that was drilled incorrectly and the Glass Driller came back out to my house and silicone glass in place Like you were going to do.
I never had a problem with it.

I can see that capping the bulkheads gives you the opportunity to go back to the overflow pipes if you ever wanted to.

Ya I'm happy with it now that I did cap the bulk heads ha I'm just scared its going to leak once I fill it up!

alright so here is what im working with for this top to the tank

ill have this on top it is just a clear acrylic and I will be adhering on these small square rails and that will just give me an edge to keep it in place but also keep it unnoticeable.

then ill drill holes I believe every half inch and then thread fishing line through them to create a tight net.

Alright I was bored so I taped out where everything is going

small box to the left is the ATO box

I also heard from atomic reef the sump and ato box should be shipped by the end of the week!

I wouldn't feel comfortable about having a floor outlet so close to the water supply.
Definitely switch that outlet for a GFCI or put a GFCI breaker on.
You get a little water overflow from the sump or you ATO sticks and you got a big electrical problem.

Each hole is 3/4" apart.

I definitely suggest mesh!

Also cut it to the exact size of the top the the aquarium and put little pegs on the inside of each corner and that will keep it in place just as well and you won't have that lip that I have.

But I'm happy with it!

Very nice, Rick at Atomic Reef is a cool guy and a member of the same club as me. He is also in process of building my sump, I've had the ATO box for a while now and it's pretty sick.
