For reference the one shown in the picture I posted is also over a 57 rimless. The dimensions on it are 36"x18" and 8.5" tall. It's roughly 20" off the top edge of the tank

thanks! the only reason mine is a little longer and wider is because of the brackets. but I am going to bring the canopy to come down pretty far but still leave room so you can see the rimless look.

And ya they are mad because we just completely redid that room and they say it completely ruins it and blah blah blah. So fine I'll fix it just pay for all my materials lol. I'm out of money after everything I bought for this thing!

Ah, keeping peace sounds fun. Lucky for me my house mates cannot complain about tripping over a couple buckets when I trip all over their junk too. I better get this hobby well established so my future girl friends will understand I'm spending quite a bit on it haha

slowly moving stuff over! mainly all the rock a few days ago. I brought a few damaged corals that I have that I was willing to see how they would do in the new tank

Lol ditto on the crying part and not only cause of cost but the fact there your baby's you watch them grow.

haha exactly I was looking at them today and man my trops overdose has really really grown! tangerine dream had 4 eyes and now it has 1 really large eye and 1 smaller eye.

I have a Beaker Bobs Orange Immolation chalice I got from a local reefer and I love that darn thing. but coolest thing was out of no where a tiny eye popped up about 1/4" away from the actual frag so that was really cool to see.

Tyree Red Volcano is doing fine. not much growth though.

im going to try and put a list of my corals together tomorrow

haha well Ive been on the fish search for awhile I have no clue what I am going to do besides these guys and then a dragonette later on down the road.

Dragonets are so awesome!! I LOVE mine... makes me long for the days when dragonets ruled the skies!

Everyone warns against them cause of their dietary requirements but its no big deal. They're worth it totally! I've got a red dragonet and a mandarin. They are great friends! The RD is so cool to watch the way he walks/climbs around foraging, The mandarin like a hummingbird. They're such peaceful fish! Here are a couple of my favorite pics...

And the way when he's really happy his little flag goes up lol and he sleeps under the sand so when lights come on you can only see his eye humps sticking out and he goes foraging still coated in sand... They are quite endearing!
