SC was being sarcastic, or perhaps just defensive. I can't tell if the photo in #15 is also sarcastic or not, hard to know since he didn't answer my question. However, I agree with you, that's almost certainly not S. haddoni.

Concerned that pic 11 has a razor blade in it, hope a claim that S. haddoni can be cut like E. quadricolor isn't comming next, because they cannot. The sacrasim from the vendor isn't helping, but what can you do.

Very odd that one of the first tiny S. haddoni is being offered right after the market is flooded with red S. tapetums, mainly being passed off as S. haddoni. Will try to link the RC thread from "phender" warning about this.

Alright you two I'm done arguing with you. If you don't believe that it is a Haddoni that is fine. But just follow the thread and see if it grows or not please don't post anything else negative I just want to have a nice thread about my Haddoni

I don't think there was ever any argument made, this is the anemone discussion area and I was doing just that, discussing the anemone you posted... I certainly wasn't intending to ruffle any feathers. Anyways, good luck with the anemone.

Thanks! Ha the fire shrimp learned very fast stay away from him. He put one leg on it and then had the fight of his life lol. I saved him though. No harm no foul

If it does turn out to be haddoni be prepared for disappearances. They're just something that need a tank designed specifically for them IMO. In a mixed reef, it will snag some fish (unless you have all open water swimmers) and inverts and odds are it will eventually take a walk after it gets bigger and cause some problems that way. I've got mine in a 45 gal. cube that is plumbed to my maion system. One other thing to be aware of, if something goes wrong with them and they die, or even get heavily stressed, they create massive amounts of waste and will contribute to a total loss on smaller systems (under 100 gal.).

i saw this red carpet in person and yes it's legit and yes it's beautiful and yes it will eat some of your fish and shrimp. but it's nice nonetheless and good luck.

thats a sweet carpet...make sure to put something in your powerhead like a net...right now it will move a lot to find the spot it likes..they like to bury deep in the sand...

no powerheads :wink: but when I get the new tank ill definitelty be watching out for it moving to the MP40. I thought it would move to the sand but it hasnt moved in inch and seems happy for the moment.

thanks I'm glad you got to see it! but ya i came into this haddoni knowing full well that inhabitants of the tank are at risk! the one fish I worry about is my awesome starry blenny as you know starry blennys like to perch/lay on things!
