Ok as no1 is replying to this thread ima put my 2 pence in the first time used this product I had a massive bacteria bloom I contacted Marin fauna and they advised this was not normal and to cease dosing which I did. Uv cleared the bloom. I’ve been dosing lanthanum chloride for around 3 months to reduce my po4 and I still have some cyano not over running the tank but enough to annoy me. So I’ve started dosing this product again 1st dose was last night water was slightly cloudy this morning but has cleared. 2nd dose will be again tonight before lights out. I’ll keep you updated

3rd dose done tonight. Cyano does seem reduced however I got home at 9pm my Red Sea Reefled runs for 15k for 3 hours 18k for 4 hours and 23k for 4 hours so will evaluate the situation when I’m off tomorrow as tank is very blue at the min. Only corals that seem ticked off is my Duncan and acans. Sps including acropora are normal as always.

Ok so lost my frogspawn was never a good frag from the day I got it so I’m not putting this loss down to the use of red x however my green monti cap is half bleached over night :/ & Duncan is still in a mood as are the acans all other sps montis and acropora are fine my lps gonis x3 and trachy are fine water slightly cloudy though. 5th dose tonight and last dose tomorrow.

Pretty nominal tbh the magic is meant to happen the 5 days after the 6th dose
11 days no water change no uv, carbon or coral foods for 11 days as instructed by the manufacturer

Cool. I assume I should leave my socks in and change them as they fill up (which is usually every 5-6 days).

No haze for me after two daily doses? What's your water volume? I have about 140g of water in my system, so I'm doing 50 ml per dose.

Instructions state 10ml for 100 litres/26 us gal I have around 30g water volume when taking into consideration rocks and corals ect so I’m dosing 10ml daily
Cool. Yeah 140g of water divided by 26g is 5.3, and 5.3 * 10 ml is 53 ml. So technically I should do 53 ml not 50 ml, but it's only a slight underdose.

So guys I’ve thrown in the towel for the 2nd time with this product and have had to put the uv on. Cloudy water for days. A lot of my montis are bleaching or fully bleached as of this morning everything else looks ticked off to. Others may have success with this product however for me on the two occasions of using it, it has caused more harm than good. Got a few frags that are toast! So the cost of the product and the cost of the livestock affected does not sit well with me. I’m going to let my system have a break and once the system is no longer shocked im probably going to use cyano rx
