Felt socks wash procedure

Do the mesh ones catch enough stuff? I presume they would let too much material get by.

I have the 100 but will be buying the 200 as the 100 clog within 1-2 days so yes they catch a lot.

I went the floss/cups route in my reefer but just got some socks to try and I must say after a day the filter socks were full and filthy where as the floss would go 3 or so days before needing changed. The socks do work better no doubt. So I may ditch the floss and put up with the hassle of cleaning socks.

That was my experience, floss seems to slow the flow down just as much as socks but for some reason the water never seemed as clear.
