Looks nice!

This tank got taken down. I transfer everything over to a Red Sea reefer 170. It's on here also check it out!

Sweet. What light were u running on the 10g?

Current orbit the regular version. It's a good light and affordable, I would go for the pro or and ai prime if I did it again. But the light was good and corals and anemone did well for the time I had it running.

Yeah I'm going for the ai prime to last me until I get the e260 tank later on

I have the prime hd in my reefer 170. It's a nice little light. Will probably upgrade down the road but it's getting the job done and I can always use it for something else later. The app to control it is great also.

I have run two tanks (38 and 40) for 4 years with no skimmer or sump.

Great looking tanks! It can be done specially in small tanks. It was a fun project just because it did well when most people would say it wouldn't.

Yeah, I enjoyed proving that it could be done, too. And, I didn't want to overload my upstairs with too much weight (and wasn't pleased with the only HOB skimmer I tried). However, now I have a 180 in my daylight basement with a skimmer and it is unbelievable how clean that thing keeps the water and how much faster my acros are growing. Plus the sump makes water changes, topping off, dosing, etc. sooooo much easier. And I actually have big fish. I sure learned a lot going skimmerless all those years, though, so no regrets.

This is my 10gallon tank. First saltwater tank so still learning a lot every day.

This is filter less and skimmerless. I use two koralia 240 powerheads. I do 2 gallon water changes weekly. The tank has been running for 5 months.

2 mocha clownfish
1 tailspot blenny
1 cleaner shrimp
Some snails

How long did it take to get the coralline algae in this reef tank, did this grow while it was filterless, and did you seed the tank with coralline algae to get it to grow?
