You can use kanaplex and/or furan-2 with copper. I wouldn’t wait until after copper to start treatment. You can always follow-up with the NFG after copper is completed if it is still lingering by then.

I’d also recommend a 90-minute bath in a product containing acriflavine. Ruby reef rally is my personal preference, but I’ve known people to use API fungus cure in a pinch.

Bath should be administered in a separate container, I use a 5g bucket with an airline and small heater.

So I have Kanaplex, Metroplex, and some Focus. Both the Kana and Metro have directions to mix with food(and Focus). As well as directionsfor directly to the tank. Is mixing with food also NOT recommended while dosing copper? Or are the warnings of mixing related to mixing in the tank?

Would mixing with food be easier, more effective on the fish while under a copper dose?
