FIRST AID HELP!! Cut finger BAD on bandsaw!!!!

Legendary guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan used to super glue back on the ends of his fingers that would blister and tear off from shredding the guitar so much. Good enough for Stevie...

Oh i totally was fragging zoas and palys, for almost an hour.. but no symptoms though, the immediately rush of blood coming outta my fingers might have flush the toxins out.. plus the 10 seconds of tapwater, and 50 mL of hydrogen peroxide, and then 5 seconds of RO/DI... yeah, i dunno whether to wait half a week or a full week to peel off the glue.. there are no symptoms so far, no pain or swelling..

I hope you weren't cutting plays or zoos with that blade before hand. Goodluck with the healing.

actually super glue was invented during the Vietnam War to close up wounds and keep the wounded from bleeding to death out in the battlefield

I was about to say, my son got a gash on his chin and we took him to the hospital thinking he needed stitches but they came out with a tube of glue and while it did not say krazy glue, I cannot imagine it being much different. I would have it looked at though, just in case

I asked once about the glue and they said its the same thing. They just get to charge more for the hospital bottle.

I'm a nj firefighter/Emt and if you cut yourself bad super glue will not hold you will need stitches with immobilization for a while. As for the toxins keep an eye on the skin for discoloration puss or oozing. Any if those would indicate an infection. I would get it looked at asap.
