I turn off my light while I float the bag for temp match (30 mins), then I open the bag place them in 2 Gallons bucket then drip acclimation for 1.5 hour and brush their shell and check for snail then they went into my tank.Post some pics! What's your road map for introduction to the tank?
I'd go ahead and file, I always consider clams like that either dead or too far gone they are about to die. Ive never seen one come back from that. After 1 night in my tank 1 seem hold up and look normal while the smaller one (I didn't expect DD ship/selling this tiny clam) look dead to me no respond, shell wide open mantle shrink way below normal and mouth wide gap open.
Here is picture of the one that look normal and I do love it golden color, it's still look gold even under blue light.

So I'm planning to file a dead complaint to DD today, should I do that or wait?
Call them. Anytime I have an issue they give me a credit or refund the money no questions askedEmailed DD about the clam issue this morning and still no respond back from DD yet.
Oh, do they need or required to mail them back the dead one?

Yup, what JohnnyReef said, calling is much faster and simpler with LA.
Thanks all.Give them a couple days. It always takes a couple days for me to hear back from them.
As far as sending the clam back I know it says they can ask for it and or a water sample but they never have asked for me to send mine back. Just a clear photo has always been good enough for them.
Probably want to start a new thread so more people will see and respond. This one is kind of dedicated to bad shipping luck around the holidays.I’ll post a pic up tonight and tomorrow but I have a Dersa that has moved it’s inlet siphon under a shaded area under a montipora that leaves half of it exposed to the light. The half under the month is always fully expanded and mantle extended. The half that is exposed usually is fully expanded all the time but it only fully extends its mantle in the early morning or late when lights are ramping down.
Is it possible it’s getting too much light?
Any clams can acclimated to extreme bright light in our home aquarium, so I'm sure there is nothing worry about too much light.I’ll post a pic up tonight and tomorrow but I have a Dersa that has moved it’s inlet siphon under a shaded area under a montipora that leaves half of it exposed to the light.
