Just covering all our bases here, you used the MARINE version of Razor, correct?
If so, how much did you dose?
Was this your first dose?

it seems like velvet, brook has obvious sypmtoms, and kills in a few days. Velvet can kill in a single day

Did you introduce anything else new in your tank? Snails, coral etc.?

brook is also more of an area, and the pic shows salt-grain-like pictures, a symptom of velvet. I reccomend ruby rally pro

Yes it's the marine version I dosed 8ml on last day of it recommended is 15ml for 50 gallon mines 32.5 only maintenance I did Saturday 10 percent water change

If you go fallow, which is essentially a completely fishless tank, Inverts and Coral are safe to stay though. If you go fallow for I think 72 days then it should be safe due to the parasites not having anything to feed on and essentially starve. However it’s a VERY small chance but it’s not impossible to have the parasite lay dormant and wait for a weak fish.

If it killed all your fish then this is most likely going to be a velvet outbreak. Very hard to spot in some cases and you often won’t know it’s there until the fish are dead. People say velvet will always have symptoms but I’m not sure about that as I have had velvet hide quite well and wipe out tanks within days. Even tanks I have watched for hours on end every day have had velvet suddenly wipe through the tank.

I’d recommend feeding the tank still, however try not to over feed and keep testing for everything. Also do a water change to get ammonia down.

You can however I’d be cautious, I have used Melafix in a reef and it’s claimed to be Reef Safe but killed a nice Staghorn I had. I’d recommend staying below what the recommended dose is if you do use it.

Ok thansk all there is one clown still alive have to see how he does but I still can't find a cardinal anywhere in the tank it's like it's disappeared which is wierd

Can you post a video of the remaining clownfish? I doubt this is Brooklynella, and if I can judge the clown's respiration rate, I might be able to determine if it is velvet or not. That said, when one fish is left from a group of fish that died, there is usually zero chance that any medication will work fast enough to save the remaining fish (sorry!).

I saw one zooanthid in a photo - do you have many invertebrates in the tank? Are they ALL doing good? If so, that pushes the diagnosis away from water quality issues and more towards fish disease.

Hi all am gutted just got home to find all my fish dead 5 of them and one clown fish hanging on they were all fine when I fed them this morning what could of caused this just tested ammonia is now 0.25 and same for nitirte nitrate is at 25ppm tesyed tank as normal yesterday and all were zero what could of made this happen and would those levels of killed them that quick none of them are new been in there for over 6 months no issues also forgot Salinity is 1.025 and temp 77 thansk

Two things possible but guessing. Was the food the same? Also the only thing that I experienced was I accidently spilled the contents of the skimmer cup in the tank. It killed all the fish in under a minute. Did yours overflow?
