Another ro bath will kill him

Even though this FW treatment will not cure the disease, it can help to remove some of the parasites, as well as reduce the amount of mucus in the gills to assist with potential respiration problems . FW dip is highly recommended Especially is formalin is not immediately available. FW will also help in preventing secondary bacterial infections to arise, such as redness and fin rot which can or may occur with brooklynella.

Definitely need a more clear picture and some additional information to help. How long have you had this fish, what are the symptoms, what have you treated with? A QT should definitely be used while you determine what is wrong and how to proceed. Clownfisk are susceptible to brookinella could be what you are dealing with here.

Prime reduces ammonia and NO3 and conditions water- will play no role . Trust me- formalin treatment is most effective. Other alternatives are malachite green and low dose copper.

If it has improved and breathing rate has improved, no sense moving it around and stressing it further. Too many suggestions and ones that will stress it out to death. FW dip should have helped which sounds like you have already done. Daily formalin baths are adequate especially if youve as indicated seen improvement. Diet too is important adding garlic for immunity system and selcon vitamin for vitality.
