For fish, being a beginner and a small tank I would look for pre-QT fish. I would do the following:

Pair of Clowns
Watchman goby and Pistol Shrimp combo
Pink Streak Wrasse

Corals:

Stick with LPS and Softies. Start with something simple at first, but not invasive, candycanes and duncans are cool easy corals.

Go slow If you don't have a Hanna Alk tester yet, I suggest adding it to your list.

Hello and Welcome to R2R! I have a larger tank that have larger fish. I also have a 32 biocube that has smaller fish. I like the activity with the smaller fish. Some fish may hide during the day while other fish like to move around. The decision should be catered to what you are looking to accomplish

A fish you might consider that no one has mentioned yet is the possum wrasse. I've got one in my 120g but he only needs around 20g. He looks like a cartoon pigeon so my wife calls him pige but he spends most of his time lurking in the shadows so I call him Batman. Anyway, he comes out whenever you spend time in front of the aquarium. A cool looking fish that doesn't have an aggressive bone in its body and has some personality.

I will suggest putting in some clowns. all clowns are okay instead for the red ones maroon, fire, and tomato clownfish. those are quite aggressive. Also keep some blennies. Those are cool also. I suggest that for corals stick to the easy ones like Zoas and hammerheads.
