Fish tank not level.

Your concern is the tank, not the stand stability, correct?

I have no experience with tank seams splitting or anything like that so be aware of that but I feel like there's not really any chance that this little bit of "tip" would ever cause any problems.

People use HOB (hang-on-back) equipment all the time which puts weight on the back panel.

On the other hand, it's already concerning you so if you can correct with a reasonable amount of effort, you'll probably sleep better at night.

There, I helped you absolutely 0%,,, sorry,,, enjoy...

No my concern is the stand not the tank.

Oh,,, I completely misunderstood from the beginning.
Haven't seen a picture of how the stand looks but, unless it's really rickety or something (which I highly doubt), I agree with post #6 (no problem).

No problem at all maybe it's the way I've put it across. But I'm just hoping I don't wake up one morning to find my tank on the floor but I do feel I might be over worrying because its not too far from been level at all. But I'll send you a picture of the stand also.

As long as you trust the stand to hold the "weight", I don't think that little bit of out-of-level is of any significance.
*400 liters of water is 400 kg, right? (So, in my world, that means 880 lbs!)

Yeah I trust the stand to take the weight as it was built for that tank just wasn't sure it would with it not been level but it seems I could be wrong with that. But then again it's pretty close to been as level as it can be. I would just hate to think of my little girl been underneath it if it was to buckle.

Since that bubble on the level is on the line that is a bit more off. Check with a level on the top of the tank and see where the level would be when having the bubble in the level in the center. Seems like the tank may be off level from one side to the next perhaps 1/2" but best to check. If it is actually 1/2"off left to right full length of tank I would correct before you get too far into it. Tanks and stands are designed based on them being level, not side stresses even though it may seem small. That includes front to back to and making sure their is no twist to the stand in the first place from one corner being slightly off from the others.

I'll check that in minute and then get back to you on it. Thanks for the advice

The stand will be fine.

There are much more likely ways that you will end up with water all over the floor, like a plumbing problem :-)

I agree with everyone that your level enough and your tank and stand are good...I'm not their to actually see so. Lol.
They make ceramic shims at hardware stores. Just tap em in. Mark it. Remove it. Break it off their and use the piece u broke off to tap it back in.
Empty the water 1st. :/

So I checked it in the center of the tank at the top and the bubble is still in the same position as the bottom of the tank.

Mine is more tilted (not much more) and it’s been fine for years
That's news to my ears honestly. So that had definitely eased my worries. I knew I was over worrying but I think it's going from a 39 gal tank to a 89 gal tank its so much bigger and would definitely not want it tipping. What size tank do you have?

So I've just set up my new tank and added the fish to it as I upgraded to a bigger tank. Was worried about it not been level. So checked it this morning. And it's off but not by much not much at all by looking at it. Should I be worried by this or will this be okay? It's front to back with the front having a litte more water I'm guessing by the picture. Any help would be appreciated thanks

you are within the bubble range but offset to the left. With a little manpower, you should be able to get a couple of shims underneath the left side

My is smaller-29gallon and a 14 gallon

Lift up one end of the level until the bubble is perfectly in the center then see how high the one end is vs the other. This will tell you how much slope your tank has if the level spans the full front of the tank.

If you're concerned about mechanical loading of your stand, you should not worry about it. For small angular displacements, there will be negligible additional loading of your front legs; the loading difference goes as the cosine of the angle from which true level is deviated.
