Fish you want

I'm just a simple person. A trio of Milletseed Butterflyfish or also known as the Lemon Butterflyfish. Used to be more common but not lately.
Fishy business has them right now if you’d settle for 2 instead of three.

Not sure if a 210 gallon is large enough - mine is 54" x 30" x 30". On top of that I've not seen them available. Not sure if that is because they are from Hawaii or not desireable. I've read they are mixed reef safe or reef safe with caution.

I'm fond of them since I've run into them on several diving trips.

I like them too and hopefully in the future when i have a bigger tank i can get at least one.

seems they frequently make the list of butterflies that people keep without too much issue. gotta be some level of risk, though

What I WILL get:
Purple tang
Chevron Tang
Valigmi tang
Neon Dottyback
Orange spot Rabbitfish
Australian Harlequin tusk

All of them but if I have to pick one I will go with the Tiger Angelfish since I was able to get my gem tang for Fathers day.

Annularis angel
Porcupine puffer
Dwarf lion fish
Wartskin angler
Seahorses

I either don’t have the space for the angel or puffer, proper tank mates for the lion or puffer, or time depending for the seahorses

Purple tang
Black tang
Gem tang

I'd likely start a war if I put any of these in with my current tang gang which includes an Achilles, Goldrim, Blue Regal, Yellow Eye Kole and Blonde Naso.

Other than the above, almost any lion fish (in it's own tank).

Moorish Idol
Achilles tang
Queen Angel
Emperater Angel
Regal Angel

i have two in a 520... about twice as long as yours... they eat like horses and have never touched any coral

i'd like a trio or more of purple tilefish, one or two of Chaetodon guttatissimus, and a venusta angelfish

Thank you for the information. I've read similar results of them in mixed reefs although my tank is smaller than yours.

I want a girlfriend, but always lose them because they are all “too expensive, delicate, or large”. Luckily, there’s plenty fish in the sea. ‍

Sorry, couldn’t resist!! It would be a school of reef catfish. I also really want this zombie-looking mutated green spotted rabbit fish that’s been at my LFS for a while, but unfortunately both fish are too big for my 30 gallon.

the clarion angel is so majestic lol ive seen one at my lfs
I had never heard of a Clarion Angel so I googled it. What a magnificent fish, but a lot less attractive at $15,000. Holy smokes...

Male Scribbled Angel, Clarion Angel, Peppermint Angel

A simple man with simple desires! :D ;Joyful :p I love this list! I would take it and just add the Genicanthus personatus to it!

An oceanic sunfish

But more realistically, a Clown Trigger

I have about equal chance of getting either of those two fish. :p Maybe one day I'll have a huge FOWLR . Clown triggers are one of the most intriguing and beautiful fish around!
