Fishroom Reality Check

Copepod babies.

These guys were viewed in the grow out tank using an inverted 20X microscope eyepiece. Each one is about 1/4 the size of a salt grain. This view covers about a 2.5mm diameter circle.

They are attached to the plastic wall in a strip about 2" wide, all the way around. So about 48" linear length.

I'm guessing I have around 60k babies or so, plus 3500-4000 adults at this point. This culture is only 5 weeks old.

Oh I see. lol
Just going to say, great to see Tomini tangs getting the love they deserve, those things are algae eating devils!
I LOVE tominis. Mature slate gray coloration with the bright flame orange fina is incredible

My new acclimation box gets here Friday - other one is in use, but it's too small regardless. Graduation to display tank is slated for Monday am.

Excited!

Lol- incoming. Couple more days for delivery.

Stoked. It's a required thing kinda deal but took this opportunity to move the schedule up and do it sooner rather than later

Won't keep you and Victoria in suspense for too long.

Also working on my macro and seagrass display fuge. Building it out over the next couple weeks, get it circulating, then add grasses when available. I have email so I need to a few vendors that are projecting June/July for harvestimg so I have a little time

This is something I would love to do! I may even have the space for something along these lines one of these day. Very cool!
