Ok:
Purple tang just moved into a clean unmedicated 10g tank. He’s had two rounds of Prazipro since I noticed the turbellarians infection on his YT cell mate, but I’ve not seen a single black spot on this guy. He got a FW dip at the same time as the YT (which she survived, but then succumbed to her wounds) and has had zero issues. Eating great, still not taking nori, but meaty foods and formula 1 disappear in seconds.
Plan is to observe carefully until the new YT completes QT in 14 days, and, assuming she does well, introduce them to each other in a 20long (probably start with a divider) for a week or so. I might push that out to two weeks to make sure they are both clear.
HLLE receded about 40-50% but kinda stalled out. I expect it’s something to do with theQT conditions. Now she’s out of Copper it might start improving again.
The new YT is in her second day at therapeutic Copper Power, her 5th day in QT, so I added some GC. Plan is to do Met on days 7 and 9, second GC on day 11, and out of QT into observation on day 15. That’ll give her 14 days in Copper Power.
Eating nori like a champ, likes mysis and marine cuisine, so-so on the pellets. Her colour is starting to come back a bit too.
Punchy the pistol is hanging out, exploring. Just waiting for the molt and he’ll go into the DT with Toby.

Was planning a tank cleaning session, and some equipment changes, but my new gyre head, tools and shoulder length gloves are stuck somewhere in the mail
So I did a bunch of yard work instead. No before pic, but I cut down 2 dead trees, removed probably 800 cuFt of cudzu, dug out some bamboo, a bunch of brambles, and cleared a bunch of brush.
Sacrifice to the landscaping gods...

No good deed... already had our back side neighbour complain to the HOA because I removed some of his ‘privacy cover’...
It was Kudzu. This thing is like a sentient creeping vine that just strangled everything to death. It’s also super invasive and you are allowed to clear how ever much of it you want, whenever you want.
I posted a reply saying he could come get his privacy screen back, if he cared to.

Neighbors...... I can’t complain as ours are really good. If I could just keep their trees from falling into our back yard.
