I just picked up a very unhappy flamethrower. Friend had it in his tank that has a ton of flow, the nem is closed up and was hiding between a rock and the glass to get out of flow.

Here is a pic of it as it drips.
I'm really hoping I can rehab it

Oh man he don't look good at all. Hope it looks better when it gets in your tank and decides to open. Best of luck to you!

Crappy pic. But its opened, won't stop walking around. I know its a waiting game for it to be happy.

Doesn't seem to like a lot of light. Its walking down more then anything

Man he looks like he has already started to consume itself. Tentacle length looks very short but it may just be the pic. It it was in lower light(under the rocks) from the other tank it will take some time to get used to it and then it will move back up higher into the light

good luck on the anemone. best thing you can do is keep your water really solid, good water changes, provide good lighting.

Seems happier today. My phone can't capture the color but right now it has a hint of green at the base and pink tips

That last pic definitely shows improvement. Glad to hear the nem is doing better.

1 week update. Everything seems to still be going good. Seems to have even more tentacles now. Still no real change in color but I figure that could take months. Eating when ever I feed it with no problems.

Here are two pics, had to play with the brightness to try and get a good pic

Yes, it's doing good. Seems to gave grown a little bit(no new pics at the moment) eats great, and is starting to show more green in the base. The tips are slowly darkening also. All good signs.

I'll post up a new pic tomorrow
