lol Dont tell em where you got it from as you'll have every tom dick and harry Entrepreneur go there buy it for cheap and turn it around for profit LOL Us reefers don't do that.:blah: In all seriousness I think its ubsurd to pay that much, but that's my .02 but its your money burn it how you want. When I go to LFS now and I see they sell per polyp I just say " OH OK THANKS and walk away " only time I did was on 2 frags of 2 differnt poyps they sold it per polyp but sold for cheap so I tried, it melted 2 days later. Thank god I didn't pay the money that I see get shelled out for Z's and P's now a days.
Cant wait for all these newly named high priced polyps to tank in price so I can get them grow them and pass em around for free.
On Ebay I still pay a PP but as long as its very cheap for PP to the amount im getting or its something Im willing to pay a bit more to be able to aquaculture it and pass it along for FREE to my local club as a pay it forward thing.

It is sad but I agree 100% with you. It is the emporers new clothes all over again. Just a few people claiming something is rare over and over until it becomes "truth" and they sucker someone in.
I love capitalism. (No Joke) It's like artwork people. Have you ever gone into a restaurant that has artwork on their walls with a price tag underneath? It's obviously not anything out of the ordinary but it is one of a kind.
Every morph is different even if slight. The artist/vendor can throw a price tag on it and as long as the consumer wants it, REGARDLESS OF IT'S BRIEF TIME ON THE MARKET, buying at a premium is how our economy works. I love it. I won't drop that kind of cash but I sure as hell applaud someone who does.
I know this is a stretch but, for me I believe that the people that drop that sort of cash down on a single polyp and can afford it are the type of people that drive that nice car or take that extra vacation while they're young instead of saving that money until they're old and frail.

Unless a morph is already everywhere, somebody has to grow it out and make it cheaper and available for the rest of us. Last year I wanted a Hallucination. Couldn't get one. A buddy of mind bought 1 and grew several out of his 1 polyp. Thanks to him I finally got 1.
