Ok well good and bad this morning
The bad first
Browned out all my sps corals
One dead chromis
All my chalices are on bad shape the weird thing is that all other LPS remain unaffected.
The goods
Clam is opening up

Well all my sps and chalices are in real bad shape. My 7 inch fox face is not in good shape also it looks like the upper area of its skin is peeling off. And one of its eyes is swollen.

How did you dose the FWE? I usually double the amount and then do a wc about 15min after treatment.
Do another large wc and see if that helps.

take your fish out of that tank, use a hangon filter with carbon in a smaller tank with the same water, instead of letting them marinate in the toxins.

Dang Luis. I have used that stuff a number of times and never had any ill effects. What I found to work best was to start with a low dose and siphon them out a little at a time. You may have had so many in there that when they all started to die they really nuked your tank. Hope everything recovers for you!

Yea bro i didnt think i had a lot cause i siphon alot of the but i guess they were inside the rocks. if all my sps coral die and my fish die I think I will get out of the hobby. But if my fish make it I might just do zoas for now on. I tired of all the crap you have to do for sps's and at the end is always lost of money.

I also had a bad experience with Flat Worm eXit but not nearly that bad. My White Cheek Tang and Foxface had marks on them like burns and stayed hidden for a week. But, they fully recovered and the flatworms are back just as bad as before. While visiting Hide Tide Aquariums in Tallahassee this last week, they said that they have no problems using it but they perform a 70% water change immediately after the flatworms are killed. I might try again if I can find enough containers to make that much water.

By the way, if you ever get to Tallahassee check out High Tide Aquariums. It is a beautiful store with tons of corals. Very clean and neat.

Luis, if u lose the frags you got from me, ill replace free of charge.

Sorry to hear that Luis. Hope all your remaining in habitants can pull through.

So sorry this has happened. There must of been thousands in there even after you siphoned them out. The toxins should decrease by now. But more water changes and carbon is all I can suggest at this point.

Yea Chris I had thousand it was crazy I change the carbon and done 2 more 20 gallon changes and got one more waiting. I'm thinking about starting over maybe even going to a small tank with no sps's

Poo happens. I've got a flatworm issue myself that I need to get some more juice to kill off. The downsides to Flatworm exit are that it will kill off any micro brittle stars as well as many other micro fauna in the tank. Cerith snails are also very vulnerable to flatworm exit. Be sure to re-dose the tank at least once a week as prescribed in the instructions (or double dose) for a few weeks. If you don't, you will just get them right back as the eggs hatch.
