Just wondering if it would be possible for flatworm to be immune to treatment and what would be a solution.
Here is my story. So a week ago I treated my tank with Flatworm eXit by Salifert. And this week the eggs started hatching and I went to treat them again. This time, I went through a whole bottle that was supposed to treat up to 300 gallons, and 2 1/2 hours into the treatment and these baby flatworms are laughing at me. My system does not have UV or carbon so that's not the issue. Just wondering if any one have any thought on this.
Thank you.

What type of FW? Yes some fw types are resistant to fw exit.

There are other options, such as fish.

Some fw are photosynthetic.

My LFS recommend a red scooter blemmy for my infestation. She did wonders for the tiny flats I had in my nano.

you lucky to have all your livestock alive. i had problem with the red fw before, so i went ahead a use Flatworms exit by salifert. First treatment i ended up have all my fishes went blind, and corals dead (i did turn on my carbon and catch out as many fw as i can). Dip corals and replace plugs next time for safety!

The same one Melvesreef documented in his treatment. The 1st treatment worked. But not the 2nd which designed to kill any that hatch from the egg which was not killed by the 1st treatment.

I got a better fish to add to your tank, they are peaceful can be kept in groups, and are beautiful. They are called Sapphire Damzels.

Thanks, I had damzels before. Didn't notice if they took care of the flatworm or not.

I didn't know scooter blenny would eat them. I thought only six line wrasse would. I'll look into it.

Not sure about the blenny but a sixline wrasse will only eat bristle worms, the Sapphire Damzels will take care of that.

I treated my tank 4 times with flatworm exit I only had a few that I could see it didn't kill any so I did a water change of 40 gallons on a 125 gallon and put large skimmer on and bought a filefish he eats all them it's great. I have always dipped all my coral and still got them. Wish you lots of luck.

Which filefish did you purchase? They're interesting looking fish. Perhaps I'll try.
I'm leaning between Scooter Blenny any Blue velvet Nudibranch right now.

All my fishes are alive and seeing, but they are a little spooked. I had a purple queen carpet surfed around the time of the treatment. So I'm not sure if had has anything to do with it. I did a 10% water change after carbon treatment. I'm going to do another 20% changed today.

The nudibranch work great but then die after all the flatworms are gone with filefish they eat pods and shrimp I have a dragon pipefish

What kind of FW we talking here?
There are a few and all need different treatments.
Some fish will go after the more kind adult FW but if the between the branches of the SPS not one fish can get there and your coral will die from stress.
Wrasses are the best against FW, again we need to know what kind we talking here.
Any pics

As I mentioned before. I was able to treat them the 1st round. Then the 2nd time I tried to treat the babies from the hatched eggs, they seems to have be immuned to the medication.
