I've been using this for the past 9 months and I love it! It does a great job scraping off the coralline algae off the glass. I've never had any issue with the blade rusting. It's been underwater since I got it. I'm not sure about the "flipping" part though. The blade makes a big thud on the glass which worries me that it may scratch the glass. I usually just flip it manually with my hands.
