I know right! It worked miracles for me! Left my cheato in as well and it wasn't effected!

Remove carbon, take skimmer cup off, turn off uv sterilizer, leave bio reactor, and gfo on. Then wait 14 days before doing big water change. Hair algea takes longer

Exactly. It only took 2 weeks for me though..
