No. I think it's green cyano. Or some other funk. That's why I started vibrant. Gonna fire up the skimmer tonight and try to some manual removal this weekend. Not sure if I'll get to it but I'm gonna try

Day 10 Folks this stuff is legit! Look at that frag rack! It's almost completely clean. Turned my skimmer back on tonight. All else is the same. Not turning on auto water changes till at least day 14. Really making a huge difference.

Love it! Im still in awe that this stuff is so legit its crazy. It works so well. Anyway, syphon that stuff out, im sure itll go away
 
Upon further examination, there are several thicker tufts of bryopsis in the cracks of the middle portion. Exactly in between my 2 AI VEGA leds. I recall reading that the first effected algae were those under more intense light. So I slid the brags closer together to see if that has any effect. It's also an area of lower flow so I see if I can reposition a power head
 
Has anyone ordered from the eBay link posted? The seller has no reviews so idk how I feel about it.

I had several strands that lingered in the back up until yesterday. Yesterday they completely disappeared.

Your nuclear green cyano had me frightened it was some mutant bryopsis monster, thank god it isn't!

I took the plunge. Put in 40 200mg pills. Let's see what happens. I didn't have much left as I have been manually removing all that I could so we shall see. I have noticed quite a bit of dyano bloom since so hopefully that goes..

Did anyone notice we put a crimp in the fluconazole supply? There's now a 20 capsule limit at payless, until they get more in a couple weeks. (I hope they ordered lots! :D)
 
I have some kind of hair algae or something and I've been dosing vibrant for a few months and it hasn't gotten any better and I'm dosing no pox also and I'm running gfo in my hob filter and I want this algae gone but my tank is around 25 gallons and after the live rock and sand i would say it's down to 20 gallons so I saw that there dosing 5mg per gallon so for 20 gallons that would be a 100mg and the pills are 200mg so what would I do dose a half of a capsule and how long do you have to dose this stuff for so I can figure out how many to buy or whatever can anyone help me out with this thanks

Most people are dosing 20mg/gal. If you have 20 gallons that would be 400mg.
